INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN AND YOUTH BOOK EXHIBITION OPENED IN SHAKI, AZERBAIJAN
The International Youth Library in Munich organized Monday an International Children and Youth Book Exhibition in Shaki region of Azerbaijan. The event took place at the initiative of German Embassy in Azerbaijan.
Head of Cultural Department of the German Embassy in Azerbaijan Jamila Agabalayeva said 250 books in 45 languages were demonstrated in the exhibition.
She noted the exhibition had been held since 1996 in many countries across the world. It was also held in Baku and Sumgayit cities.
Head of Shaki region`s Executive Power Nazim Ibrahimov was present at the event.
