Azerbaijan, UN OCHA discuss prospects for cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov has met with head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) Ramesh Rajasingham on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN OCHA, including the situation in the post-conflict period in the region, as well as the situation around the Lachin road.
The deputy minister noted that Azerbaijan had sent humanitarian aid to a number of developing countries during the COVID-19 pandemic, including post-pandemic periods. He highlighted the role of the International Development Assistance Agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in providing international humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan.
Elnur Mammadov said that the movement regime for citizens, vehicles and cargo through Lachin road remains unchanged.
