“Azerbaijan has undertaken a highly significant initiative by bringing together representatives of many countries and organizing discussions on projects in the field of sustainable development,” Consultant and Senior Expert at UN-Habitat Aditya Kumar told AZERTAC on the sidelines of the WUF13.
According to him, Azerbaijan’s hosting of an excellent event such as the World Urban Forum, dedicated to global housing challenges and sustainable development, and the discussions held here with the participation of various stakeholders, contribute to other countries’ efforts to tackle these challenges.
