UN-Habitat: Climate change and rapid urbanization are key challenges affecting progress of developments

“The goal of attending the 13th Session of the United Nations (UN) World Urban Forum (WUF13) is to discuss the challenges arising from the intersection of climate change and rapid urbanization,” Reinero Yen Flores, UN-Habitat National Project Coordinator, told AZERTAC.
He noted that climate change and rapid urbanization are two key challenges affecting progress of developments.
"Therefore, not only the lack of adequate housing, but also climate change issues must be reviewed together."
