WUF13 participant: The event plays a key role in discussions on sustainable urban development

“At a time of rapid global urbanization, increasing migration to cities, and resulting pressure on public services, holding such an event is highly important,” Dorah Marema, who is participating in the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum, told AZERTAC.
Marema emphasized that the event plays an important role in discussions on sustainable urban development and urban growth, highlighting Azerbaijan’s leadership in sustainability through hosting major events such as COP29. She also emphasized the importance of green energy and sustainable transport systems, saying they enhance economic efficiency while supporting environmental protection.
