Congolese Minister: There is much to learn from Baku's urban planning model

"We are deeply impressed by the urban development in Baku. I believe there is a great deal to learn from this model. Such a rapid transformation will inspire us as well," Alexis Gisaro Muvuni, Minister of State for Infrastructure and Public Works of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, within the framework of the 13th Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).
The Minister highlighted the significance of the event in terms of learning from the experiences of other countries, particularly those that have achieved notable success in urban planning:
"Our expectation from this forum is also to speak about the Democratic Republic of the Congo, attract investors, and demonstrate that Africa is a highly viable destination and continent for investment. We hope to have the opportunity to engage with both international partners and private sector investors regarding the Congo and Africa, encouraging them to invest in these regions."
