Aleksandar Vučić: Ilham Aliyev’s dedication to his people is the guarantee of Baku’s incredible progress

“I would like to thank President Ilham Aliyev, my dear friend, for the magnificent hospitality, the wonderful reception in Baku, and for hosting such an unforgettable event. Every time I come to Baku, I witness great changes and progress, the result of what the people of Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev are achieving together for their country. Your determination, resolve, and President Ilham Aliyev’s dedication to his people are the guarantee of this incredible progress,” said Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during the Leaders’ Statements at the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13).
Aleksandar Vučić thanked Azerbaijan for hosting WUF13 and for organizing innovative initiatives for the first time at the summit level. He emphasized that this contributes to realizing the full potential of the World Urban Forum. “It is no coincidence that this country, located on the shores of the Caspian Sea, is hosting a forum focused on addressing issues of urbanization and urban planning.”
He noted that ensuring accessible and safe housing for everyone involves business circles, non-governmental organizations, governments, and private entities, and stressed that thousands of participants gathered in Baku to discuss the future of cities and urban development challenges.
