Sadyr Zhaparov: WUF13 is a unique platform for discussing urbanization and housing accessibility

"Dedicated to the theme “Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities,” WUF13 serves as a unique platform for discussing issues of urbanization, sustainable development, climate change, and housing accessibility. I would like to express my deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan for organizing this important forum at the highest level, as well as for their warm hospitality," said President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov during the WUF13 Leaders' Statements.
He noted that providing accessible, safe, and quality housing is one of the primary challenges of the modern world. Today, cities are becoming hubs for economic development, innovation, and human capital. At the same time, cities are on the front lines of confronting the consequences of climate change, growing pressure on infrastructure, housing shortages, and safety concerns.
