Azerbaijani PM meets with Speaker of Georgian Parliament in Tbilisi

Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov, who is on an official visit to Tbilisi, has met with Speaker of Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili.
During the meeting, the sides hailed the successful development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia in various areas, including political, economic, trade, energy, transport, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The sides noted the important role of both countries’ Parliaments in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia. They also praised the close contacts between the friendship groups of the two countries’ legislative bodies.
During the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on prospects for bilateral relations and other issues of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Ali Asadov then signed the Book of Honourable Guests of the Georgian Parliament.
