International conference "Azerbaijan 2020: The vision of the Future" kicks off in Baku
Baku, December 3 (AZERTAC). The international conference "Azerbaijan 2020: The vision of the Future" has started in Baku.
The conference is organized by the Strategic Studies Centre under the Azerbaijani President.
Opening the event, head of the Azerbaijani President`s Administration Ramiz Mehdiyev highlighted Azerbaijan`s overall achievements. He stressed the importance of the "Azerbaijan 2020: The vision of the Future" development concept, and laid out its key priorities.
The conference heard a number of reports, including by UN Development Program`s Resident Representative in Azerbaijan Antonius Broek, Azeri ICT minister Ali Abbasov, deputy transport minister Musa Panahov, Global Leader at PwC for Government and Public Services Jan Sturesson, and WB country representative for Azerbaijan Larisa Leshchenko.
