President Ilham Aliyev gets acquainted with construction works at the mosque complex in capital’s Binagadi District
Baku, December 30 (AZERTAC). President Ilham Aliyev today got acquainted with the construction works at the mosque complex being constructed in the territory of capital’s Binagadi District.
Restoration and preservation of material-cultural monuments in the republic is under constant consideration of the head of the Azerbaijani state. The presidential orders issued last years on restoration of historical monuments are evidence to the assessment President Aliyev gives to the religious-moral values. Under instructions of the head of state the Teze Pir Mosque, Azhdar Bey Mosque, as well as other religious-historical monuments were capitally restored. This work is successfully being implemented also in the regions.
President of Azerbaijan arrived at the territory in Binagadi District to get acquainted with the construction works at the site of mosque complex.
Mayor of Baku Hajibala Abutalibov informed on the construction project with total area of 4 thousand sq meters. The Complex will have 4 minarets of 72 m height each. The main dome of mosque will be at 55 meters, the second dome - 35 meters of height. The Mosque will be decorated with special stones in Shirvan-Absheron architectural style. The interior sides will be marbled. The Complex will house a parking spot for 80 cars.
The head of state toured the construction site, gave his instructions.
