Trans-Caspian international transport route’s consortium set up

The Coordination Committee of the Trans-Caspian international transport route has established a consortium to promote the project, AZERTAC quoted the ‘NK Kazakhstan Temir Joly’ company as saying in a statement.
According to the statement, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Georgia agreed a number of issues, including technological collaboration between the transport companies for the transit container service «NomadExpress» on the China-Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey route with the involvement of rail and sea transport in direct international railway-ferry; the use of complex bets on the organization of container train «NomadExpress» on Trans-Caspian international transport route; creation of a consortium on TCIT route; organization of road show in China and Europe.
The sides signed a cooperation technology document. The document provides for the reduction of transit container train running time, the implementation of the exchange of information between the participants of the corridor and the customs authorities, compliance with the rules of registration of transportation documents related to the organization of transport.
The adoption of special tariffs for the organization of container train «NomadExpress», creation of a consortium between the participants to promote the route in the global transport market was among other decisions taken at the meeting.
The consortium will work to develop logistics products with a high degree of customer focus, finding and attracting new customers.
A key task of the Coordination Committee is the development of TCIT route by attracting transit and foreign trade cargo, coordinated policy in the field of establishment of tariffs for transportation of goods, improvement of the efficiency of transport links, creation of the joint integrated logistics product.
