Azerbaijani Armed Forces launch large-scaled training exercises in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic
Baku, April 16 (AZERTAC). The Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan have started large-scaled training exercises in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic under the combat readiness plan for 2014.
Military staff of the Army Special Forces, aviation and air defence systems, forces and facilities of the rocket army and artillery, and modern armoured vehicles are involved in the training exercises led by Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov.
The exercises will see the inspection of the combat readiness of the military units in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the examination of opportunities of applying state-of-the-art military equipment and weapons.
Special attention will be paid to increasing efficiency and effectiveness in fulfilling the tasks, organizing mutual activity and provision, and inspecting how instructions are fulfilled at different stages of combat operations.
