GOVERNMENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND HUNGARY TO SIGN AGREEMENT ON PROMOTION AND MUTUAL PROTECTION OF INVESTMENTS
Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev met today a delegation of Hungary led by its Foreign Affairs Minister Kinga Goncz.
The parties discussed ways and prospects of further development of economic ties between the two countries.
Azerbaijani Minister briefed on rapid economic development of his country in last years. He said Azerbaijan participates in various strategic projects, which are of great important for the region.
Mrs. Kinga Goncz appreciated the economic reforms implemented in Azerbaijan, expressing interest of her country to boost economic ties with Azerbaijan.
In the end, an agreement on promotion and mutual protection of investments was signed between Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development and Hungarian Ministry of Economy and Transport.
According to the agreement on promotion and mutual protection of investments between the two countries, the parties will promote investors’ capital and create favorable condition for them. Besides, the two countries will exchange information and experience on economic questions.
