Next talks on Azerbaijan-Georgia borders’ delimitation due in Tbilisi in November
Baku, Oct. 26 (AZERTAC). The next round of Azerbaijan-Georgia talks on delimitation of borders will be held in November in Tbilisi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov said Wednesday.
Azerbaijan and Georgia have already solved two thirds of the delimitation problem.
The issue of delimitation of Azerbaijan-Georgia border has never complicated and can not complicate the relations between the two countries,” Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said at the briefing in Baku.
“The process is underway. This process requires patience, calm and painstaking work. The work must be continued on the level of experts basing on maps and relevant documents,” he said.
The border between Azerbaijan and Georgia is 480 km. Delimitation has been continuing since 1996.
