Baku, September 12, AZERTAC
“Azerbaijan is an active member of the OSCE and makes significant contributions to the activities of the organization,” said OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger as he delivered a lecture at ADA University on the topic “The OSCE as a platform for renewing dialogue and rebuilding trust”.
The OSCE Secretary General noted that his visit to Baku aims to explore the potential for further development of relations between Azerbaijan and the organization.
The Secretary General also shared his views on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries reaffirmed their joint position on the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of the principles of the Helsinki Final Act. “We support the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” Secretary General Greminger said.
