Tajik president to pay first state visit to Hungary

Baku, June 9 (AZERTAC). President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomalii Rahmon will start a two-day official visit to Hungary on Friday, according to MTI.

The Tajik president will be received by Hungarian counterpart Pal Schmitt, his host, on Friday evening.

During the visit, several bilateral agreements are scheduled to be signed, including on the cooperation of the two countries`ministries for agriculture, foreign affairs and health care, Schmitt`s office told MTI.

The signing of a cooperation agreement between the two countries` Olympic committees is also on the agenda, the office said.

The two countries established diplomatic ties in 1992. This will be the first official state visit Emomalii Rahmon pays to Hungary.
