THE ANNIVERSARY SUMMIT OF THE BLACK SEA ECONOMIC COOPERATION TO TAKE PLACE IN JUNE
Turkey will hold the chairmanship in the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC). Holding the summit of the heads of the member states in connection with the 15th anniversary was agreed at the recent session of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of BSEC member nations in Belgrade. The summit is planned for June, and, apparently, in Turkey. The economic development of BSEC region was accelerated in recent years, and as a result, inflows of the foreign investments increased.
The projects of the Baku- Tbilisi -Ceyhan oil pipeline and Southern- Caucasian gas pipeline have already been realized for the development of the region, and a new transport corridor - the Kars-Tbilisi- Baku railroad that will carry out active investment program for the countries of the region, first of all, for Georgia and Turkey, will be established.
