COMPANIES ENGAGED IN PASSENGER TRANSPORTATIONS WITHOUT CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANIES, WILL BE FINED
As was informed by AzerTAj, at the session discussed were the questions “On introduction of amendments and supplements in some legislative acts have in connection with application of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On obligatory insurance of passengers”, and also the Laws “On defense” and “On military service”.
Chairman of the constant commission on economic policy Sattar Safarov informed that in connection with application of the Law “On obligatory insurance of passengers”, it is offered to make amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences. In addition, it is entered the interdiction on realization of activity by the legal and physical persons engaged in passenger transportations, without conclusion of insurance contract with the corresponding organizations. Carrying out activity contradicting the law will be fined in size from 10 up to the 20-fold sum of conditional financial unit. The size of the penalty imposed on officials, is higher. It has been marked, that the mentioned changes will guarantee insurance of passengers during accidents and their safety.
After discussions, the parliament passed the bill.
At the session, also has been discussed and adopted in the third reading the bill “On hunting”.
With the information on the said bill, speaking was the chairman of the standing committee of parliament on agrarian policy Eldar Ibrahimov, who informed, that overwhelming majority of remarks and the offers which have been put forward by deputies during previous discussions of the document in the second reading, has been taken into account.
In the project, it is also stated that the said law establishes legal bases of the organization of hunting and the hunting facilities in territory of the Azerbaijan Republic, realization of their activity, and also protection and breeding up animals. The bill envisions stimulation by the state for activity of the hunting facilities engaged in breeding of wild animals and domestic animals. It is marked protection and restoration of the hunting facilities at republican and local level and that their development and accommodation will be financed due to the state budget, foreign investments, grants and donations.
In the document, it is reflected the responsibility for infringement of the legislation on hunting, the international cooperation, the right of possession of the hunting objects and the hunting fund, rights and duties of hunters, stay of the right on hunting and other positions. After discussion, the project has been put on voting and adopted in the third reading.
Then, the deputies have discussed the bill “On amendments and supplements in some legislative acts of the Azerbaijan Republic”, have voted for decisions about entering of amendments and changes into the laws “On notary”, “On leasing service”, “On courts and judges ”.

After the break, was discussed in the second reading the bill “On obligatory insurance of employees of the diplomatic service working in diplomatic representatives of the Azerbaijan Republic, carrying out activity in foreign countries both at the international organizations, and the persons who are carrying out administrative - maintenance service of bodies of diplomatic service”.
Representing the bill, chairman of standing committee on economic policy Sattar Safarov informed the members of Parliament the with a view of the further expansion of relations of Azerbaijan with the countries of the world, President Ilham Aliyev has made a decision on opening of embassies in 8 countries. The said decision once again proves the urgency of the discussed bill. Regulations about the insurance stipulated in the bill, will be related and to employees of new embassies of Azerbaijan to be open in foreign countries.
S. Safarov has noted that with growth of economic power and opportunities of Azerbaijan, the embassies and in other countries will be open, the sphere of action of the bill will extend. He also informed that offers, remarks and the suggestions which have been put forward during discussion of the said document in the first reading promoted the commissions and working group during work on the bill.
Deputies have stated their proposals on the bill. They have declared, that there is no necessity for the Article 6 and have suggested to keep the name of the said document in the same kind, as in the Decree of the President.
With the discussions completed, the bill consisting of 13 Articles has been put on voting and adopted.
