Azerbaijan is capable of successfully implementing principles of sustainable urban development, says former PM of Republic of Srpska

If there is any country capable of successfully implementing the principles of sustainable urban development, it is undoubtedly Azerbaijan, Mladen Ivanić, Bosnian Serb politician, former Serb member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, former Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska, said in an exclusive interview with AZERTAC.
According to him, the country’s main mission is to demonstrate to the entire world that the principles of sustainable development can indeed be implemented in practice. He emphasized that the fundamental principles discussed during the summit should not remain merely theoretical concepts, but must be translated into real action.
Mladen Ivanić noted that even without placing a special emphasis on such initiatives, Azerbaijan has already achieved significant progress in many areas. He added that he speaks with confidence on this matter, as he has visited Azerbaijan many times and personally witnessed the changes taking place across the country.
