Drawing of the Titanic bought for 250,000 euros

In the county of Wiltshire in England was an auction in which the drawing was sold to the steamship Titanic, which was created specifically for the commission investigating the catastrophe. It has dimensions of 10 by 1.5 meters. For the first time drawing shown in April 2011 at an exhibition in the Irish city of Dublin, dedicated to the Titanic.

Figure bought a private collector for 250,000 euros, which is almost twice the initial price, Lenta.ru reports with reference to The Irish Times. Buyer`s name is not called.

The Titanic sank April 15, 1912 during its maiden voyage from Europe to America. Of the 2,224 passengers managed to save only 711. At the time of construction of the Titanic was the largest passenger ship in the world.
