Another panel discussion of the Fourth Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth "Heydar Aliyev - 100" held in Nakhchivan was dedicated to "History of independence of Azerbaijan".
According to the State Commiteee on Work with Diaspora, the guests of the panel discussions were prof. Solmaz Tohidi-Rustamova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, employee of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after academician Ziya Bunyadov of ANAS, Amir Ali Sardari Iravani, the heir of the Iravan Khan living in Germany, and Michael Hess, a well-known German scientist and ethnologist.
Solmaz Tohidi-Rustamova made presentation on the topic of "Ideology of Azerbaijanism: From Mahammad Amin Rasulzadeh to Heydar Aliyev". Amir Ali Sardari Iravani spoke on the topic of "History of the Iravan Khanate", and Michael Hess made a presentation on the topic of "What does Nasimi want to convey to humanity?"
The diaspora youth met the lectures with great interest and addressed numerous question to the guests of the panel.
