40 civilians, 11 armed forces personnel embrace martyrdom: Pakistan

Pakistan has said that forty civilians, including women and children, were martyred and 121 others injured in recent unprovoked and reprehensible Indian attacks. While defending the motherland with exemplary valour, 11 personnel of the Pakistan Armed Forces embraced martyrdom, and 78 were wounded.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday, in response to this grave aggression, Pakistan's Armed Forces mounted a resolute response under the banner of Marka-e-Haq, delivering precise and high-impact retributive strikes through Operation Bunyanum-Marsoos.
Meanwhile, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid glowing tribute to the martyrs and saluted the families of those who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The President paid tribute to the martyrs of unprovoked Indian aggression, stating that the entire nation saluted the brave sons of the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force who laid down their lives for the country’s security.
The President said that India’s blatant aggression had further united and strengthened the Pakistani people, and that the entire nation and its armed forces were always ready to respond to New Delhi’s hostility.
The ISPR statement said that the Armed Forces, together with the people of Pakistan, pay solemn tribute to the martyred civilians and military personnel, and offer heartfelt prayers for the swift recovery of the injured. It reiterated that the nation remains resolute in the face of aggression, categorically stating that there should be no ambiguity: any attempt to challenge Pakistan’s sovereignty or territorial integrity, ever again, shall be met with a swift, full-spectrum, and decisive response.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that through "Operation Bunyanum-Marsoos", the Armed Forces of Pakistan shattered India's fantasy of numerical superiority and arrogance. He said the valiant officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces fulfilled their promise to the nation to protect the motherland.
The Premier expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of forty innocent civilians, including fifteen children and seven women, due to Indian aggression. Prime Minister Sharif announced that Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq will be observed every year on May 10 in honour of the "magnificent success" of Operation Bunyanum-Marsoos.
