The seminar devoted to the 29th Summer Olympic Games was held in Beijing. The seminar brought together representatives from 204 countries. The participants of the seminar have familiarized themselves with the prototypes of 31 sport objects and watched the sport territory.

On August 8, the participants of the seminar participated in the ceremony devoted to the Olympic Games due in Beijing.

In accordance with it, participating in the seminar vice president of the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade and Chief de Mission to the 2008 Beijing Olympiad Games, head of the delegation Ilham Madatov have held August 10 a press conference.

Chingiz Huseynzade underlined that Azerbaijani embassy to China has established the necessary conditions for participation of Azerbaijani delegation in the seminar, as well as promised to assist Azerbaijani athletes in the forthcoming 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Azerbaijan’s ambassador to China Yashar Aliyev has been elected NOC’s attaché in Beijing Organizing Committee for the XXIX Games.

NOC vice president Chingiz Huseynzade said over 40-45 Azerbaijani athletes are expected to participate in Beijing Summer Olympic Games.
