Deputy Secretary-General of Belt and Road Alliance: Baku is one of world’s most beautiful cities

Through this landmark event, Baku can position itself as a premier model of modern urban development on the world stage. I think Baku is one of the world’s most beautiful cities, and I strongly believe that this beauty will be enhanced even more in the future, Li Renying, Deputy Secretary-General of the Belt and Road Alliance for Science and Technology, who participated in the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), told AZERTAC.
"We can see clearly how rapidly the capital is developing and how dynamically the urban environment is modernizing. We have closely familiarized ourselves with the projects demonstrated as part of the event, particularly, Baku's Master Plan, which outlines the city's development until 2040. I think in the next 15 years, Baku will become one of the most attractive and beautiful megacities not only in the Caucasus, Caspian and Central Asian regions, but also in the whole world. This city will become the key center drawing large investors, businessmen and numerous tourists worldwide," he said.
