Eswatini participant: WUF13 experience could contribute to improving access to affordable housing in my country
Baku, May 20, AZERTAC
“At WUF13, we are learning how various countries address housing challenges and issues related to informal settlements. We are also gaining valuable experience on how to better support our own populations and develop more sustainable cities for all. It is therefore essential to be present here, learn from one another, and share diverse experiences,” Londiwe Simelane from Eswatini told AZERTAC, while participating in WUF13.
Stressing that her country faces major challenges with informal settlements and housing, as many people live in poverty or struggle to access adequate housing, she emphasized that the solutions and experience gained at the forum could contribute to improving access to affordable housing in her country.
