Nigar Arpadarai: Media plays a crucial role in objective and rapid information exchange in urban development

“Cities have always served as indicators of economic progress. Naturally, the media plays a distinct role as a mediator in this context. Essentially, we must ensure a balanced and rapid exchange of information,” stated Nigar Arpadarai, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan and Member of the Milli Majlis, during her speech at an event titled “Media as a Driver of Public Discourse on Housing and Urban Resilience” held within the framework of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.
She emphasized that the process of objective information exchange is vital. “Being accurately informed and well-prepared plays an immense role. I believe we can foster stronger and more effective communication,” Nigar Arpadarai added.
