Baku’s achievements and the large-scale reconstruction efforts in Garabagh after 33 years of occupation are particularly impressive, Korkut Oran, Turkish entrepreneur and manager, and current CEO of Mertsav Savunma Sanayi Sistemleri, said in an interview with AZERTAC
He emphasized that Azerbaijan is a brotherly country he has been visiting for many years, noting that he has not observed another country in the world developing so rapidly in the field of urban development.
According to him, Baku’s progress and the large-scale reconstruction efforts in Garabagh are especially remarkable, including the development of both above-ground and underground urban infrastructure.
He also highlighted the construction of the Fuzuli Airport within just nine months after the end of the occupation, calling it a unique project with no equivalent in the world.
In conclusion, Korkut Oran expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev, and the organizers for such initiatives and noted that he is pleased to take part in the event.
