Baku, May 20, AZERTAC
WUF13 is an opportunity for everyone to shape their cities and address their challenges. Dr. Imad Hamad Al-Masri, Deputy Minister of Public Works and Housing for Planning and Studies in the Syrian Arab Republic, said in an interview with AZERTAC.
“Of course, there are cities affected by wars, as well as natural disasters, earthquakes, and other crises, while other cities have achieved a high level of development. All cities exist somewhere between zero and one,” he said.
According to him, everyone aspires to improve their level of development and increase attention to their city and its people. WUF13 provides an excellent opportunity for people to meet and exchange ideas, establish partnerships between cities, and hold side events, exhibitions, and various activities.
“The most important thing is the implementation of the Sustainable Development Agenda, which is currently being updated. All of this is done in the interest of people around the world,” he concluded.
