17 countries confirm participation in Eurovision 2012

Baku, July 2 (AZERTAC). The participation of 17 countries in Eurovision 2012 to be held in May in Azerbaijan`s capital ahs been affirmed.

Slovenia, Germany, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Hungary, Georgia, Denmark, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Croatia, Swiss, Estonia and Armenia will participate in the contest.

The first semifinal is slated for May 22, while the second for May 24. The contest will culminate with a final contest on May 26.
