EU and British Council launches new project on inter-community dialogue and cooperation in Azerbaijan
Baku, January 13 (AZERTAC). British Council Azerbaijan jointly with its partners Economic Research Center and Human Rights Foundation launched new EU funded project on inter-community dialogue and cooperation towards community development.
Attending presentation of the project, head of EU office in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Roland Cobia, director of British Council Azerbaijan Paul Klementson and representative of the organization George Burt briefed the participants on the project.
The project will be realized in north-west regions of Azerbaijan during 24 months. The main goal of the project is to support durable development of municipalities by increasing citizen participation.
The project features realization of activities towards development of civil society organizations, preparation of citizen participation strategy, implementation of pilot projects related with the annual activity of municipalities in four northern regions of the country.
