GERDA HENKEL FOUNDATION TO ASSIST CONDUCTING OF SCIENTIFIC-RESEARCH WORKS IN AZERBAIJAN
The head of regional representation of Gerda Henkel Foundation in Middle Asia, Khurshidbek Inomjonov visited on Thursday the Institute of Oriental Studies of ANAS after Z. Bunyadov.
Deputy Director of the Institute, PhD Shahin Mustafayev in detail updated the guests on the scientific research works conducting in the Institute, stressing that these works are directed mainly towards researching of religious and literary monuments of Iran, Arabic and Turkish people, history and economy of region’s countries and written monuments.
In his turn, Mr. Inomjonov said the main goal of his organization is to assist the research works, conducted in the field of humanitarian sciences in the Universities and in scientific institutions. The guest expressed his confidence that Azerbaijani orientalists would show interest in this cooperation, stressing the Foundation will render necessary finance assistance to their valuable researches.
Basically, the Foundation grants the individual and group projects, assists young scientists and candidates, help scientists to take part in conferences and seminars conducted abroad.
