International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Qatar discuss prospects for cooperation

President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva has met with the Minister of State of Qatar, the President of the Qatar National Library, Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuvari, as part of her working visit to Doha.
At the meeting, it was noted that the new cooperation relations established between the Foundation and the Qatar National Library will make special contributions to the promotion of the universal values of the Turkic and Arab world. Moreover, the existence of partnership relations with the Turkic states and other countries during the years of the Foundation's activities was appreciated and the organization was evaluated as a bridge that brings the cultures of the peoples of the world closer to each other. It was said that the publication of the book "Poetry Anthology of Azerbaijani Women Poets" by the Foundation in Arabic has influenced the development of cultural relations between the Arab and Turkic worlds.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the Memorandum to be signed between the Foundation and the Qatar National Library and the prospects for future cooperation.
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to the State of Qatar Rashad Ismayilov attended the meeting.
In the end, the president of the Foundation, Gunay Afandiyeva, visited the library and got acquainted with ancient manuscripts and books.
