President Margvelashvili: Georgia-Azerbaijan relations are of special importance to us
Baku, February 13 (AZERTAC). “The Georgia-Azerbaijan relations are of special importance to us,” said President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili in his exclusive interview for Caspian Energy Journal published under support of the Caspian European Club (CEIBC).
In the interview, Margvelashvili spoke about the results of his visit to Baku, development of Georgia, regional cooperation, and geopolitical issues.
President Giorgi Margvelashvili said his visit to Baku had made positive impressions on him: “I would like to express my admiration of what I saw in Baku, those personal relations established here with President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, Parliament Speaker Oktay Asadov, and the Members of the Parliament whom I had meetings with. The personal relations strongly impact on those impressions that we take with us. The scales of the Baku city development are also impressive”.
The detailed interview with President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili will soon be published in the jubilee issue of the Caspian Energy Journal devoted to Georgia.
Prior to the interview, the Georgian President met the management team of the Caspian Energy International Media Group.
The issue of organization of the Caspian Energy Forum Georgia in Tbilisi was discussed at the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Natalya Aliyeva, President and Editor-in-Chief of the Caspian Energy International Media Group, Rasim Mahmudov, General Director of Caspian Energy International Media Group, and Jeyhun Bayramov, Editor of Caspian Energy International Media Group.
