PROSPECTS OF CO-OP OF MINISTRY ON EMERGENCIES OF AZERBAIJAN AND UNDP DISCUSSED
In the meeting that focused on the prospects of further cooperation, Mr. Heydarov noted that serious works is being carried out for close coordination of mutual activity with the Program of Development of UN and that the Ministry works in accordance with the principle “Safe life, work and rest” for every citizen of Azerbaijan.
Presenting detailed information, Minister Heydarov noted the rise of intensiveness of cargo transportation on the Caspian, successful development in oil, mine, processing industry and in building sector, notable rise of the role of preventing measures, ensuring safety of population. Mr. Heydarov said that in Azerbaijan, in particular, in Baku, the construction works have largely extended. Examination by corresponding structures of the Ministry and raids show that not always the apartments and industrial objects meet their definition and appropriate norms of construction.
Marco Borsotti has noted importance of efficiency and mobility of the similar structures created in this connection in any country. He has offered to create bilateral working group for definition of prospects of mutual cooperation with a view of the organization of normal activity and work of the re-created Ministry in Azerbaijan.
With satisfaction having accepted the offer, minister Kamaladdin Heydarov spoke of contours of joint cooperation.
At the meeting, also took place detailed exchange of views on other questions representing mutual interest.
