SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN BAKU IN THE FRAMEWORK OF EUROPEAN COMMISSION’S TEMPUS PROGRAM
In the framework of TEMPUS program of the European Commission, a scientific conference will be held in Baku on September 23-24. As AzerTAj correspondent was informed in the embassy of Germany to Azerbaijan, coordinators of the program on Azerbaijan having addressed the embassy, asked to hold a conference in order to introduce the program to the relevant bodies in Azerbaijan. The key goals of the event are to organize education in the higher educational institutions in accordance with modern demand, analyze the results of projects implemented by the European Commission on coordination of Azerbaijani education with European standards, discuss the prospective of new projects.
Besides, the conference is expected to sum up the project successfully implemented in Azerbaijan Technical University in the framework of TEMPUS, hear the reports on actual theories and scientific co-operation related to the implementation of the next COE approved projects on re-establishment of education in 3 more higher educational institutions – Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Sumgait State University, Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute, discuss strategy of joint activity of European and local scientists, and conduct scientific consultations on co-operation..
