Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister meets head of Finland`s delegation to OSCE PA
Baku, January 10 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov has today met with the head of Finland`s delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Ilkka Kanerva.
Stressing importance of the visit the Finnish MP pointed out that Azerbaijan has great economic opportunities. He said Azerbaijan is interesting nation for his country in terms of cooperation on a bilateral basis and within international organizations.
Khalafov underlined that South Caucasus and Caspian regions attract attention of the international community in many aspects. He also briefed the Finnish official on Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and added the fact that the problem had not been solved yet impedes stability and development of the region. Khalafov highlighted Armenia`s non-constructive position in the negotiations process and noted that it is unacceptable to change borders by force or occupy another country`s territory in modern world.
