Nora Lombardini: Building renewal and replacement must also reflect labor market transformations

“Labor market transformations must also be factored into building renovation and replacement processes. In this regard, strengthening human knowledge and skills is of critical importance,” said Nora Lombardini, Deputy Dean of the School of Design and Architecture at ADA University and Associate Professor at the dABC Department of Politecnico di Milano, in her remarks at the session on “Housing and Education: The Role of the Dwelling in Architectural Curricula,” held at the Azerbaijan Pavilion within WUF13.
Nora Lombardini also addressed the reconstruction and recovery process, highlighting the crucial importance of the state’s role and support in this area.
