Ambassador hails Victory Day as a celebration of unity, will and national pride of Azerbaijani people

An event marking November 8 – the Victory Day, was organized at the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Sultanate of Oman.
The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, including the ambassadors of Türkiye, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to Oman, representatives of the country's business circles, local media representatives, as well as members of the Azerbaijani community living here.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Oman Rashad Ismayilov highlighted the deep spiritual and historical importance of Victory Day for the Azerbaijani people, emphasizing that during the 44-day Patriotic War, the Azerbaijani Army, under the leadership of President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, restored historical justice and the territorial integrity of the country.
The diplomat also touched upon the ongoing restoration and reconstruction efforts by Azerbaijan in the post-war period, as well as its policy aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region.
Ambassador Rashad Ismayilov hailed the Victory Day as a celebration not only of Azerbaijan's military victory, but also of the unity, will and national pride of the people.
The event also featured the screening of a video highlighting the Victory Day, which was followed by a concert program.
