Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board to attend 17th Eurasian Economic Summit in Turkey
Baku, February 1 (AZERTAC). An Azerbaijani delegation led by Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board (CMB) Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will participate in the 17th Eurasian Economic Summit in Istanbul, Turkey.
The summit is organized by the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation.
Allahshukur Pashazade will be accompanied by head of Azerbaijani Mountain Jews community Milikh Yevdayev, Chairman of the Baku Religious Community of European Jews and Head of the Catholic Church in Baku Vladimir Fekete and Bishop Alexander of Baku and Azerbaijan.
The chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Board and heads of religious communities in Azerbaijan will deliver reports at the event.
Allahshukur Pashazade will provide an insight into the state-religion relations, atmosphere of religious tolerance in the country at the event.
He will also meet with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of the Orthodox Church.
The 17th Eurasian Economic Summit, that will provide a ground to the countries of the world for their economic, political and social cooperation and their joint development, is perceived in the international arena as a commercial experience, a platform of cooperation for thought and civil initiative and a gathering of prestige.
