Ambassador: Media play huge role in developing Azerbaijan-Laos relations

“Media play a huge role in developing Azerbaijan-Laos relations,” said Azerbaijani ambassador to Lao People's Democratic Republic Anar Imanov as he met with Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, president of Laos Journalists Association Savankhone Razmountry. The meeting was attended by Laotian media executives.
The ambassador called on Laotian journalists to contribute to the development of relations between the two countries.
They discussed Azerbaijan-Laos cooperation in a number of areas. On cultural cooperation, they hailed the role of days of culture in bringing people of the two countries closer to each other.
Laotian media executives highlighted the necessity of establishing cooperation with the Azerbaijani Embassy and media.
Ambassador Imanov also spoke of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan's socio-economic development, energy, infrastructure projects and tourism potential.
