As part of his working visit to Thailand, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Malaysia and the Kingdom of Thailand Irfan Davudov has held numerous meetings to discuss the development of relations between the two countries across various areas.
The ambassador met with President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand, Speaker of the House of Representatives Van Muhamad Noor Matha, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Trade Representative of Thailand Ms. Nalinee Taveesin, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sarun Chareonsuwan, Secretary General of the Thai Investment Board Narit Therdsteerasukdi and Director General of the Thailand Mine Action Center Sorravat Patamakom.
During the meetings, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for relations between the two countries, including interparliamentary ties, and the strengthening of cooperation within international organizations.
The parties also discussed the expansion of economic and trade relations, simplification of visa procedure, organization of reciprocal visits, improvement of the legal framework between the two countries, investment opportunities and the participation of Thai companies in reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories.
