Azerbaijani companies represented at PRODEXPO 2026 exhibition in Moscow
Moscow, February 11, AZERTAC
Azerbaijani and Russian producers discussed prospects for expanding cooperation on the sidelines of the international food products exhibition PRODEXPO 2026.
As part of the exhibition, representatives of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Russia held a number of meetings aimed at expanding economic and trade cooperation. A meeting was also held with Dmitry Prokhorenko, GR Director of Grand-Trade JSC, one of the leading suppliers of food and non-food products to the Russian market from various countries.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation between Grand-Trade JSC and Azerbaijani companies specializing in the production and sale of food and beverages.
“We actively work with Azerbaijan; we have many connections there,” company representatives noted.
During the discussions, it was emphasized that, according to last year’s results, Russia maintained its position as the largest buyer of Azerbaijan’s non-oil products, with total supplies amounting to $1.174 billion. In this context, Dmitry Prokhorenko noted that Grand-Trade JSC imported agricultural products worth $92 million from Azerbaijan last year for further distribution on the Russian market.
The parties also considered opportunities to increase supplies of Azerbaijani food products not only to Russia, but also to other major markets where Grand-Trade JSC operates, including China, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates. The sides agreed to organize a visit by company representatives to Azerbaijan to explore further prospects for expanding mutual economic and trade cooperation.
Subsequently, embassy representatives familiarized themselves with the stands of Azerbaijani companies participating in PRODEXPO 2026, including Azersun Holding, Shirvan Wines, Absheron Olive Garden, Olivea, Avrora, ENNA, and Mors Trading.
PRODEXPO is Russia’s largest annual food exhibition, showcasing new trademarks, brands, and innovative products. This year, approximately 2,000 participants from 37 countries are presenting their products at the exhibition, which will continue until February 12.
