Russian president Vladimir Putin nominated for Nobel Peace Prize by his supporters
Baku, October 2 (AZERTAC). A group of supporters of Russian President Vladimir Putin has written to Norway’s Nobel Prize Committee calling for him to be given the Peace Prize.
The group made specific reference to Mr Putin’s efforts relating to the Syrian crisis, and said his striving for a political solution had averted the start of “World War III”.
