Azerbaijan provides another humanitarian aid to Kenyan school

As part of dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and Kenya, the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has provided another humanitarian aid in 20,000 US dollars to the St. Ursula’s Special School Chamakanga in Vihiga County, Kenya.
According to Azerbaijani Embassy in Kenya, a ceremony was held at the school to mark the presentation of AIDA's humanitarian aid. The ceremony was attended by Wilberforce Kitiezo, Deputy Governor of Vihiga County, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kenya Sultan Hajiyev, Commissioner of Vihiga County Florence Sitawa, officials of the Kenyan Ministry of Education and the public.
Addressing the ceremony, Sultan Hajiyev emphasized the importance of inclusive education as a key component of sustainable development and equality. He highlighted Azerbaijan's efforts in Kenya and other African countries through the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and AIDA across the education, youth empowerment, culture and health.
Wilberforce Kitiezo, Deputy Governor of Vihiga County, hailed AIDA's humanitarian efforts in Kenya as a demonstration of Azerbaijan's commitment to sustainable development and South-South cooperation, expressing his gratitude to the Government of Azerbaijan for the assistance.
