Baku-Budapest energy partnership changes central Europe's security landscape - Hungarian Expert
Baku, March 3, Tamilla Mammadova, AZERTAC
Energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary is becoming a key factor in the transformation of Central Europe's energy security, Hungarian international relations expert László Vása said during the latest episode of the "Azerbaijan and the World" program broadcast on the AZERTAC website.
He noted that since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, alternative routes and partnerships with Turkic countries have enabled a number of countries to reduce their vulnerability to external energy risks. He emphasized that Azerbaijan has proven itself to be a reliable and predictable energy supplier, capable of fulfilling its obligations even in highly turbulent conditions.
He noted that joint investment projects create a solid economic foundation for bilateral relations and strengthen Central Europe's strategic autonomy, reducing dependence on a limited number of traditional suppliers.
