Several documents adopted at CIS Economic Council

The CIS Economic Council held its regular session in Moscow, focusing on economic cooperation and adopting a series of key decisions and documents.
Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Yaqub Eyyubov attended the session, featuring discussions on economic cooperation among CIS member states.
Following the session, the CIS member states approved the main priorities for cooperation in managing radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel through 2030. Amendments were also made to the Charter of the Radionavigation Interstate Council, and several institutions were granted base organization status.
Additionally, drafts of the Mining and Metallurgy Digital Transformation Concept and the 2026–2030 Interstate Radionavigation Program were reviewed for submission to the CIS Council of Heads of Government. Discussions also covered uranium mining site restoration and geoinformation technology development. The next CIS Economic Council session is set for June 2026 in Moscow.
