Azerbaijan's national heritage takes center stage at international dance festival

An international festival titled “Dance unites us,” marking the 35th anniversary of the Tajikistan’s independence, was held in the capital city of Dushanbe.
Azerbaijan State Dance Ensemble presented “Ag Chichak” and “Zangazur Yalli (Aghbaba)” dances, promoting the country’s national heritage at the festival.
As part of the festival, Matlubakhon Sattoriyon, Tajikistan’s Minister of Culture, met with the official representatives of the participating countries. The minister emphasized the significance of expanding cultural cooperation and strengthening mutual understanding among nations.
The festival, attended by the representatives of CIS countries, contributed to enhancing friendly relations among peoples, as well as to the protection and development of national cultural heritage.
Following a series of concert programs, the festival concluded with the presentation of honorary awards.
