Czech Republic refused to participate in operations in Libya
Baku, March 29 (AZERTAC). Official Prague will not join the military operations against Libya, said in an interview with Czech Television, Czech Prime Minister Petr Nechas. He said, "firstly, Czech politicians have no clear relation to operations in Libya, and secondly, the Czech Republic does not has sufficient military capabilities. " Necas said that military action against the regime of Muammar Gaddafi to coordinate a coalition of countries, but not NATO. The head of the Czech government said that Prague is ready to send humanitarian aid to Libya. On Thursday the UN Security Council adopted a resolution which provides for the possibility of foreign military operations to protect the population of Libya from the troops of Gaddafi. The military operation started on Saturday, it involves the U.S., Britain, France, Italy and Canada in the next few hours to be joined by Spain, the RIA Novosti news agency.
According to the newspaper LOOK, Saturday night delivered the first U.S. missile strike against targets in Libya. According to Fox News attack American Tomahawk missiles were objects of Libya`s missile defense system. At the same time Libyan satellite channel Al-Jamahiriya reported that Western countries issued missile strikes on civilian populations and objects in Tripoli. In addition, it was reported that the Western Air Force bombed a hospital in the suburbs of Tripoli. "The UN launched its aggression against Libya - he said. - We have asked the United Nation to send an international mission to establish the truth, but they sent a rocket. Hundreds of supporters of the regime of Gaddafi came to the area near the fortified complex of Bab al-Aziz on the outskirts of Tripoli. According to state television, people from all sides of the capital "voluntarily rushed to defend their leader, who in mortal danger."
