NATIONAL SECURITY MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN TAKES PART IN MEETING OF HEADS OF BODIES OF SPECIAL SERVICES IN KAZAN
On the action, annually conducted since 2002 in various cities of Russia and characterized with consultations and exchange of experience, delegations of security service and special services of 52 countries, and also of some the international organizations have been presented.
Minister Eldar Mahmudov delivered a lecture on position of the Azerbaijan Republic on the item on the agenda “Maintenance of antiterrorist safety of the fuel and energy complex” and the successes reached in mentioned area.
In the meeting, also discussed was implementation of the resolution of the UN Security Council 1624 “On prevention of instigation to terrorist activity”, prevention of the extremist activity which is carried out by use of religious ideologies, and other questions. In the frame of meeting, minister Eldar Mahmudov has carried out fruitful bilateral meetings with representatives of bodies of special services of foreign countries, had exchange of views on some questions representing mutual interest.
